About Us

Flying Ace’s is an unique aviation social club designed for pilots who want options other than flight school rental aircraft and/or aircraft ownership.

Imagine driving to the airport with your morning coffee, opening the hangar door and see a beautiful polished Cessna 170B or Silver Luscombe 8A waiting for you and that sunrise flight thru the Gorge or maybe that afternoon picnic on the coast with friends.

We are not a flight school with multiple renters rushing or waiting on the aircraft, we are not a flight club that has 50 pilots, all struggling to get time in the same aircraft.  We are as close to private aircraft ownership as you can get without the hassles of ownership.  Each aircraft is limited to no more than 5 pilots per airplane. This is to ensure availability of the aircraft for when you want to go flying.

Monthly membership dues include 4 hours (dry) in the aircraft of your choice.  Also included with membership, and the most important part, is the sense of community.  You are encouraged to come hang out at the hangar, make friends at the airport, participate in flyins, and invite other to fly along side you to new destinations.  Scappoose Airpark is a great airport with a wide variety of pilots, aircraft, aviation companies, and all around good people.  Even if you are not member please feel free to stop by anytime the hangar door is open.  We are located in the hangar facing the runway, closest to RWY 33 touchdown zone, next to the wind sock.
